Ray Straeter
Union Rep

Ray worked in the supermarket industry for both Albertsons and Hughes markets.

A former rank and file member of UFCW Local 324, Teamsters Local 952, and Adjunct Faculty United Local 6106, California Federation of Teachers, Ray also spent a decade working in the restaurant industry without the protections of a CBA.

He holds a Master of Arts in English with an Emphasis in Rhetoric and Composition from
California State University, Long Beach (CSULB).

Ray began working for the UFCW in the Communications Department at Local 324 and served as an Organizer on the CVS campaign.
