Kerry began working in the industry in October 1994
for Ralphs#280 in Marina Del Rey as a Service Deli Clerk.
In February 1998 she started at Vons #2105 in Marina Del Rey as a Courtesy Clerk; she was promoted to Service Deli a few months after being hired. A year later she was promoted to Assistant Service Deli manager.

She was hired by Local 1442 in September 2000 to work in
the Membership Department part time. She continued
working for Vons until October 2003 at that time she became full time at Local 1442. Most recently she was promoted to Union Representative in August 2018.
