Deliana began as a Clerk's Helper in 1987
at Boys Marina Market. She became a Cashier
and worked during the Alpha Beta acquisition.
Eventually, Ralph's merged with Alpha Beta
and she suffered a lay off.

Local 1442 hired Deliana in 1997 to help in the
Medical Benefits Department. Shortly thereafter,
she became the Office Manager/Bookkeeper.
She also serves on the Executive Committee.
She became a Union Representative in 2005.

Deliana is a graduate of California State
University of Northridge (CSUN)
with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Family and Consumer Sciences
focused on Consumer Affairs.
