that is designed to provide basic information to you in an easy and
accessible way on what we would call the “Union Advantage”.
As you know it is virtually impossible for our union organizer(s) to make
comprehensive presentations to you at the store level without CVS
management watching and ultimately interfering in our brief “on the
floor” encounters. We also know it can create a level of discomfort or
unnecessary stress for you. It’s even harder to meet with you after work
because everyone seems to be “on the go”. That’s the advantage of having
our website with this dedicated CVS drop down site
that allows you to browse through at your leisure and privately without
the concern that CVS management may be spying on you.
During your visit to www.ufcw1442.org we encourage you to visit other
drop down menus to see all aspects of our union and what we have to
offer; take a look at the UFCW/CVS labor contract and read the protective
language we have on page seven that provides job security for our CVS
members.
We encourage you to register NOW as a Friend Of The UFCW and as an
incentive we will send you four movie passes. Additionally, you will, as
a registered Friend Of The UFCW be able to take advantage of many of the
benefits our union has to offer. We ask that you provide us a way of
reaching out to you, your choice of either phone or e-mail so we can
discuss with you privately in greater detail the benefits of having your
store under a UFCW contract and how to go about that process.
